To be fair, the location is great! We wrote email to the apartment 1 week ago to confirm our check in timing at the check in timing on the website was till but there was no reply. Upon arrival, there is nobody at the reception and we were stranded outside the apartment. We called the reception, and he responded very rudely that he just returned home and asked us to wait for an hour. Whilst we were waiting aimlessly outside the apartment, another guest came and had the same situation as us. In fact, he reached half an hour earlier than us, and the reception told him the same story, requesting him to wait for an hour too!
When this young reception reach after an hour, he was wearing a suit with smart hair combed. He is definitely not coming from home, but from a bar!! On next day evening , we saw another guest standing outside the apartment, and he was also facing the same issue. Apart from the check in issue, the apartment is of great value although some kitchen appliances are out of order. It is just 10 mins walk to grote place.

The storm scoured a deep passage in the existing Zwin River which ran near Bruge, giving access to the North Sea. However, the flatness of the plains of Flanders meant that the Zwin River was not a swift-flowing river.
