Yet, you will find a lot of things to do in the immediate vicinity. Moreover, as the cottage is ideally located in the centre of Belgium, all major tourist sites are within easy reach and you can visit all historical and tourist sites of Belgium in just one day.
In the immediate vicinity, you are sure to find something of interest be it cultural, historical, gastronomic or sports-related: 3 golf courses Bercuit, Bawette and LLN , Walibi amusement park, Adventure Park in Wavre, horse riding, cycling, walking, tennis, restaurants, theatre, cinema, cultural activities, etc.
Visit the local museums Longueville's clock museum, Chaumont's war museum and discover by the beautiful countryside. You can also visit all other historical and tourist sites of Belgium in just one day coming back to the cottage in Bonlez for a good night sleep. Less then 1 mile out of the cottage you will find a few welcoming restaurants. In Gistoux, 2 miles away, several restaurants, shops and middle-size supermarkets are available, even on sundays.
