Great new design boutique hotel. A brand new hotel by the Kalmhoutse Heide. Nice fresh modern design. Rooms are quite large with a huge bed with organic linen. During the Twelve Years' Truce there was a short resurgence of the municipality until , when the plague raged.

The real resurgence had to wait until when the church was rebuilt. All this abruptly ended with the start of World War I.
