The mansion is very well maintained, full of character and the rooms are spacious and nicely done. Beds are huge and comfy, bathroom is done to a high standard.

The rooms are very spacious and offer good privacy, although you can also make use of the shared lounge with fireplace and dining table. From our new pitch, it took some 5 minutes hunting to find a power supply box in the middle of the next door pitch completely obscured by a tent in front of it. The other fields seem to have the same problem.
There may be enough power outlets for those who need them and have very long cables, but putting many connections on a box obscured by hedges and tents is just pure laziness ,when the power cables have to run around the site anyway. The showers were good but the toilets needed proper cleaning and the brush holders were dirty.
Way over priced. Reception good with good if not over the top welcoming pack. Cleaning sanitary facilities was done in the morning had to walk to find another. Bus close by and nice location but would not rush back. Excellent site. Very friendly staff. Nice reception area with welcoming staff and welcome pack. Good facilities. Having stayed in five ACSI recommended sites over a week this was best site and best value. Having read reviews wondered what to expect. Received a warm, friendly welcome. Asked for a quiet, sunny pitch and got a lovely spot with rabbits visiting us. Toilets and showers clean. Easy cycle route into Gent. Six pitches around us empty, only one neighbour.
Can see what reviews mean by the road noise, but we were well away from it so worth asking at check in. The worst campsite I have ever stayed on. Dirty and unkempt.

Electricity connections much too far away. Staff incompetent. And expensive. Pleasantly surprised. Professional, helpful staff. Good pitches. All information provided.
Toilet blocks are male and female separate but showers are unisex. The only negative is that the toilet blocks are not as clean as they could be. The showers are good but always flood the floors.
Would stay again off season. Limited choice of campsites around Ghent fortunately this campsite is a good one. I was solo camper on a motorbike and the pitch I was allocated was fine if a little lumpy. I would happily stay again and spend a little longer. A great campsite conveniently situated on the bus route to Gent. Sites are well kept and of ample size. Ablution facilities are excellent and well serviced.
Free wifi throughout the camp is a bonus.
We arrived for one night on the way to Calais. Also Northern Europe had been subjected to non stop rain for 3 weeks.
