Arrived with no booking on a Sunday morning and asked for 2 nights using our ACSI campingcard discount. No problem. Girl on reception was very good and had us checked in and armed with wifi codes, maps and tourist info very quickly. Was warned I'd need at least 50m of cable to hookup and was offered a loan of a cable if ours didn't reach.

We were allocated pitch 38 which wasn't in the best of condition but was close to sanitation block 2 which was dated but clean and functional. Block 1 was even older but still clean. Free showers. Free WiFi. The 45min walk to town takes you past the lake and along nice canals. Bus stops about 2mins walk from reception. Bus was free on the Sunday, never found out if that was a one off. Great site for the price and very good sporting, exercise facilities, and a great bus service into Ghent. Some of the good bits - The free wifi at my pitch was fine - but the pitches for the rest of our group really were hit and miss. So either it isnt boosted enough or you have to be in direct line of the router on the buildings with no trees in your way.
Place could do with a tidy up with respect to hedges and the bins area.
