It was reasonably priced. The mattress was comfortable. We stayed in one of the rooms that did not have a bathroom. This was the biggest drawback, but we just thought of it as a lot like camping. We walked to the beach at De Panne via a delightful woodland trail popping out in a residential area close to the front, taking us approx 50 mins with our dogs. A favourite campsite with young families and those stopping over en route, would highly recommend.

Very nice small campsite nicely positioned for the Belgian coast and Plopsaland. Camp is run by very nice friendly people and is only 45 minutes from Calais. A small, quiet site.

Staff were friendly. Nice to be able to order bread for the morning. Shower and toilet blocks clean and modern. Small site down a stone access road. Toilets very clean. Good sized pitches. Handy for ferries from Dunkirk. This inspector visits Campsite Kindervreugde every year and inspects the campsite on the basis of more than amenities and other points of interest.
