Once in Maldegem one could take a trip on a narrow gauge railway line, which stops somewhere in the fields, and then returns in a largely open wagons. We had a great day at their Gala. Steam and Diesel were running on both the standard gauge to Eeklo and the narrow gauge.

I vi8sited this railway with my wife and my Mother and we all enjoyed our trip on the steam train. The train trip is about 1 hour to Eeklo and back. You pass a good variety of scenery along the way.
