Normally, this shouldn't have been a problem, then the restaurant has a nice terrace, so the children could have played outside. Unfortunately, it was one of those rainy days in Belgium. During the service, we had to ask for some things we needed, like for instance something to put the pits of the olives in. They promised to bring something, but then completely forgot it, maybe because they were too busy. If they want to promote the restaurant for families with children, they should pay more attention, by giving them something to play with.

They had it in the house, but we had to ask them and then they brought some paper and pencils. The big advantage of this restaurant is that they can cook for people who have gluten allergy and lactose allergy. Since my daughter in law and one of the grandchildren have gluten allergy, this is a big advantage. They baked bread, glutenfree, made pancakes glutenfree and cheese crockets glutenfree.

Congratulations for the cook, since chefs who know how to cook glutenfree are rare in Belgium. Sometimes restaurants pretend to know and then make basic mistake. I heard no complaints on the food by the rest of our group. Everybody enjoyed the meal and everything was very nicely served. Since we were 8 people, the bill was rather high, but the lunch was worth it.
