From the first kilometres on, easy sections alternate with more technical challenges, within a landscape of fields, orchards and woodland.

At Fumal we cross the old local railway line which, in times gone by, took passengers to Landen, Huy and Ciney. Approaching Vissoul, there is a succession of climbs and descents. Exceptional for its flora and fauna.

Marchin, at the heart of the Condroz The Condroz is a famously pretty agricultural region to the south of the River Meuse. Time passes slowly in the village of Vyle-etTharoul. This itinerary will go to the heart of the Condroz, on a superb route that takes us first to Molu, with its rustic setting radiating harmony and tranquillity. Throughout the circuit there are beautiful examples of rural heritage: old farmhouses and hamlets lit up by their yellow stone, as witnessed at Molu and Jamagne.
Further along, we come to a small valley formed by a stream, the Goesnes. We are well and truly in the Condroz here: after a ridge comes the descent on the other side… before climbing the hill opposite planted with maize. Leaving this, we follow a fast-flowing stream, the Chefna, as its chases its wild path between the rocks. The descent goes on and on — and what a pleasure it is! This is unquestionably one of the finest tracks in Belgium.
