There was a two drawer bedside cabinet at the side of each bed, with bedside lamp. Daily coffee, teabags and biscuits were provided together with an electric kettle for boiling water. Clean drinking mugs with spoons were provided. The room was visited daily for the purpose cleaning, emptying the waste bin, and replenishing daily provisions. There was a plate of sliced meats, and a variety of cheeses. A good quality coffee and tea was provided, and replenished if so wished.

A smile and friendly chat always awaits you and the family spoke good English which was an added advantage for us when ordering a meal. We returned there a number of times during our 11 day stay, and found each and every meal we had, to be delicious and at a good price. This restaurant was recommended to us by Stacey; and having visited it on several occasions we were well satisfied, and would highly recommend it to others.

We were well pleased with this. We had never met or heard of Stacey, Luc, Sam or Laura in our lives, yet on first meeting in December, , we could not have met a more welcoming and friendly family. There was this instant familiarity and connection with Stacey. Almost like you had walked into the home of your own family. Stacey and Luc are both very warm and friendly people, who really go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The rooms were spacious and very clean and their were spare beds for our toddler. We went with our friends and enjoyed spending time in the common room where we played board games and enjoyed some good music. Our rooms also had a small TV with a lot of options for english channel, which we really watched only on the nights.

The wifi was also very good in the rooms. We had a really nice stay and were able to explore Bruges and Gent from here, with no problem. We cannot wait to come back in the summer and enjoy some quiet time with a nice book and the pool and some friendly company. Stacy and Luc made us feel very much at home in their quiet and comfortable home just a shot distance outside of Bruges. The rooms are comfortable and very well kept.
