Nice and quiet although on the weekends the swimming pool is inundated by kids from surrounding villages.

This was my second stay at this hotel. I look for a hotel that is clean with a restaurant on site and is a good value. This meets all my requirements. Yes, I would book it again! Highly recommend for simple budget motel near the bus station. The hotel is central Nang rong and is fully renovated. Its located between two soi and has parking at the rear. Individual rooms located at the back. Three levels at the front. Stairs are ok. Decor is clean and fresh. Rooms are reasonable sized rooms and the bathroom wet room is really modern and new. No in room fridge. Ac and wifi are excellent. No brea No breakfast but food shops everywhere. Free coffee in the morning. Small drinks bar at super low prices.

I was realy impressed and the price on Agoda promotions was super low. Definitely my choice next time in the area. Stayed for two nights but would have stayed longer if the hotel would have had more facilities like room service mini bar and up to date interior. Smart Resort was a nice place to stay. It was very accommodating. And the staff was very helpful with our needs including arranging local transportation.

The head chef was very pleasant and gave us ome advice on ights to see before leaving Buriram. One area for improvement is the swimming pool. It is already the Thai hot season and temperatures will be climbing even higher next month. Having the swimming pool in order by then would be a boon for guests. This is a no-frills hotel in the middle of Buriram, only a few minutes from the train station. For the super-low price, we weren't expecting much. The room is fine, they kept it clean. The bathroom is also fine, and clean. The staff was friendly. Everything was fine, nothing outstanding, but that's okay.

There is dust everywhere, and the paint is cracked and peeling in a lot of places. This doesn't diminish the room experience at all, but it is a bit of an eyesore outside the room. The hotel was not up to standard to be 2 stars.. Hot water heater was not working. Fused light bulbs, in the room, were not replaced. Poor maintenance! Had booked and paid for 2 nights, but stayed only 1 night..

Moved to another hotel for the 2nd night at Buriram.. Basic clean budget hotel, little bit out of town, min walk to town centre. Friendly staff, comfy beds.

We stayed in a lovely looking wooden chalet which was clean and comfortable and had adequate facilities such as fridge, kettle etc. There is one huge bed which was just about large enough for all if us to sleep in - 3 short people in normal positions, the tall one me! The place looks a little quiet upon arrival and we were not quite sure how to gain entry to the compound; the owners are very alert however and soon appeared to let us in. The owner's area is separated by a gate - which is just as well because they have several aggressive sounding dogs; the dogs are actually OK, just rather noisy when people approach; at other times they are quiet. There are a dozen or so caged goats and a tethered cow kept in the compound, which our young children found very interesting - the goats especially. There were complimentary cans of beer, pepsi and water in the fridge and tea and coffee sachets; every morning a bag was left outside our door with new supplies.

My wife's parents live in a nearby village and the location is perfect for us in that respect. We shall be returning! New hotel located directly next to the Buriram football stadium and race track. Nice clean rooms. Excellent well equipped gym and big swimming pool.
