Local brewery as scenery to have drink and a snack. I already visited this brewery in the starting up years, when they actually ran out of beer before the next one was ready. I love to eat a tomato soup with some local cheese and bread. Calm place to relax with some nice choices of local beer. Date of experience: October Leuven, Belgium contributions helpful votes. Great beers, OK brewery visit. The brewery visit takes approximately 45 minutes, more than half of the time it's about the history of the castle and the brewer's family tree.
The brewing process is only mentioned quite briefly. The beers at Ter Dolen are great - I especially liked the winter beer. Definitely worth a visit.

Date of experience: January Timothy Z wrote a review Dec. This "micro-brewery' was installed in the coach house of a castle private residents and created the Ter Dolen beer. Over the years, it has grown from a brewery with tours and a small tavern to taste the wares into a marketable brand which has expanded the beer line and added cheese.

I went to this private welness with my girlfriend a while ago and really enjoyed the experience. You have a jacuzzi, a decent-sized pool, out- and indoors beds, a sauna, a steam bath and rain showers at your disposal.

The host was very friendly and professional and everything was very clean. We had a package with breakfast included and it was nice, a little tip would be to add some fresh fruit and some bacon with eggs. There is also a mini bar where you can take extra drinks at extra charge.
