A beautiful, comfortable, HUGE room in the lovely countryside. Our hostess was warm and kind. The breakfast was wonderful. The price was incredibly reasonable! I can not recommend it enough! We fell in love with the place from the moment we arrived and were greeted by the flowers along the path to the door. Once we entered our quarters - which included a nice living area with a dining table and fireplace, a spacious bedroom, and an ensuite bathroom - we knew we had made the right choice. The shower area was enclosed only by a circular shower curtain, and space seemed a little tight there, but the bathroom was actually reasonably spacious.
The mattress may be too soft for some people, but I didn't have much to complain about. Anne-Catherine offered to drive us to dinner, but we chose to do the long walk instead.

It did take longer than we expected, so perhaps we should have taken her up on the offer. The breakfast in the morning included an amazing spread, with bread, pastries, cheese, cereal, egg, fruits, yogurt, juice, coffee There was no way we could have finished everything, and it was all very good. We had the choice of taking it in our room or out in the garden. Speaking of the garden, it is quite beautiful, and it was delightful to see it when we opened our eyes in the morning.
As the place is quite far from Brussels and we did not drive, Anne-Catherine even arranged for her son-in-law to drive us back to Brussels. And we were quite happy to pay him a rate that was a significant discount from the taxi fare we paid to come from Brussels.
